Time to be you

Yoga - my approach

I offer a balanced approach to yoga drawing together aspects of the traditional practice of Hatha Yoga including posture (asana), breath-work (pranayama), relaxation, meditation and yogic wisdom. I believe yoga can be enjoyed by everyone and aim to make my classes accessible by offering adaptions and modifications.

I aim to encourage more balance and connection with mind, body and breath, whilst building strength, resilience and flexibility.  I encourage those that I work with towards inner enquiry, to connect and listen to the body as their guide and source of wisdom.

I am trained in Akhanda Yoga - bringing forward ancient wisdom for a modern age. My teachers in India showed me that to embody yoga, is to embody a sense of freedom and wonder.  I learnt to create space and push past obstacles, following a path to our true nature which is fearless, expansive and joyful.   Enjoy the journey.

Gail’s style of teaching is very gentle and calm, yet afterwards I feel as if I have given my body a really good workout.  I come out of her class feeling full of energy and enthusiasm, but beautifully relaxed and calm - it’s a lovely balance.

I wish I had found you 30 years ago!

Gail puts a lot of thought and energy into every class and has a calming teaching style that is very therapeutic.  I was pleased to find her classes are really welcoming and accessible for everyone, with lots with beginner’s options and modifications.

I have noticed since attending her class that I have reduced back pain and I am more flexible.

At the end of class I always feel restored and balanced.
